Overall purpose of job

To manage the commercial development and management of the Accessories Business for MG Motor UK

Main activities and tasks

• Price compare MG Accessories Vs the key competitors both from other OEMs and grey suppliers
• Develop Marketing programmes to increase MG Accessories sales via the MG dealer network
• Maintain and develop the MG Accessories brochure and retail price list
• Develop close working relations with UK and China Accessories suppliers
• Liaise with SMTC engineers and design when developing Accessories and decals
• Ensure stock cover for Dealer supply based on sales demand
• Agree Accessories sales plans with MG dealers via the MG ROMs
• Work closely with the MG ROMs to develop sales across the MG Dealer network
• Develop a merchandising process for MG Dealers so they don’t run out of stock and always have a constant display of Accessories
• Design & launch a Accessories display cabinet for all MG Dealers
• Work closely with the MG Aftersales team to help increase the MG Aftersales revenue and relations with the Dealer network

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Experience of working in a similar role for a vehicle manufacturer
• Commercial appreciation of the automotive accessories business.
