Head of Sales & Marketing


  • - Develop MG motor’s annual marketing plan
  • - Product manage all MG models and versions, benchmark against competitor set
  • - Plan and manage the development of quarterly sales and marketing campaigns
  • - Develop and maintain a suite of sales and marketing reports

    • - Develop MG Motor’s annual marketing plan as directed by the Head of Sales & Marketing
    • - Product manage all MG models and versions, liaising with colleagues in the UK and China
    • - Ensure that MG’s products remain competitive in the UK market in terms of specification, engineering, technology and pricing
    • - Establish an annual product strategy aligned with the annual marketing plan and broader sales and marketing objectives
    • - Through a structured activity cycle process, lead the development and deployment of MG’s quarterly sales and marketing campaigns
    • - Provide the regional team and the dealer network with communications material to launch and animate the sales and marketing campaign
    • - Produce post-activity analysis to assess the success of each campaign versus the objectives and to drive continuous improvement
    • - Develop and maintain a suite of reports to provide the business with key sales and marketing data covering MG’s operations and the wider new car market
    • - Provide up-to-date market analysis and insight to support MG senior management
    • - Ensure that budgets are optimised whilst presenting a high quality and professional image of the MG brand
    • - Liaise with suppliers including data providers, creative agencies and PR agencies


  • - Product management / marketing planning experience
  • - Commercial experience in a field based or head office role
  • - Project management skills
