Ashley Sutton will make his debut in the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship in 2016.
The 2015 Renault UK Clio Cup Champion joins the MG Triple Eight Racing team for the new season after a series of successes throughout his short but already impressive motorsport career.
After beginning his career in karting, where he picked up numerous awards, most notably the prestigious 'Lewis Hamilton True Grit' award, he moved into single-seater racing in 2010 in the Formula Vee series. He surpassed all expectations by winning the Rookie of the Year Championship and finishing 4th overall from over 40 entrants.
A road accident kept him out of racing for over two years, but he made a comeback in 2014 in the British MSA Formula Ford Championship. A move into the Renault UK Clio Cup was to follow in 2015, where he took the title with six wins and a further eight podiums.
Racing runs in the family and he'll be using all his experience and knowledge as he takes on his next challenge in the 2016 BTCC.
