MG have announced that they will be on the grid once again for the 2015 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship (BTCC).
The cars will continue to be prepared by Triple Eight Race Engineering, one of the most successful constructors in touring car racing. The team are currently working on an exciting new-look driver line-up for 2015, which will see the MG6 GT’s re-branded and given a fresh look, courtesy of a host of new sponsors joining the team next year.
The MG6 made its touring car debut at Brands Hatch in the 2012 Dunlop MSA BTCC championship.
MG won the Manufacturer's Championship in 2014, just three years after returning to the British Touring Car Championship.
The MG/Triple Eight team ended Honda's four year dominance of the sport after securing seven wins and 20 podiums throughout the season.
Jason Plato finished second in the Driver's Championship, while Sam Tordoff supported the team superbly in finishing 7th.
