Goff's MG6 Qualifies third at Rockingham

The MG6 of Jack Goff will start the first race of tomorrow's Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship  at Rockingham from third on the grid.

After taking provisional pole with 11 minutes remaining, he eventually had to settle for a place on the second row after being pipped by Mat Jackson, Aaron Smith, and then Gordon Sheddon who went 0.003 seconds faster than the MG with his final lap of the session. After the session though, the Honda driver was penalised for a pitlane infringement, which moved Goff back up to third

Andrew Jordan complained of under-steer before finishing the session early and will start race one from tenth.

Sunday's action gets under way at 11.37 with race two and three following at 13.52 and 16.40. You can watch live coverage on ITV4 and  follow all the action on our official Facebook and Twitter pages.
