Sutton qualifies third for MG at Croft

The MG6 of Ashley Sutton will start Sunday's round 13 of the 2016 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) at Croft from third on the grid.

After an eventful start to the session, which saw the rookie spin off twice, the MG debutant posted a stunning lap of 1:24.008 to secure a place behind pole sitter, Colin Turkington, for Sunday's opening race.

Teammate, Josh Cook, was unable to challenge near the front runners and will start from 18th.

Sunday's race one will get underway at 12:02 with races two and three following at 14:39 and 17:06. Live coverage will be available on ITV4 while we'll have regular updates on Facebook and Twitter.
